About Micro Ring Hair Extensions

Micro ring hair extensions are fitted by feeding small sections of your natural hair through a small metal ring along with a stick-tipped hair extension. Once the hair extension and your natural hair are both inside the ring at the root of your hair, it is squeezed closed to secure them together. The metal ring is lined with silicone so that it does not damage your natural hair, and no heat or glue is involved.

Hair extensions by Your Royal Hairness are 100% human hair and can be treated as your own.

An aftercare help sheet is provided during your consultation for you to keep.

Micro ring hair extensions are the safest and easiest option to maintain. As your natural hair grows, the metal ring can be squeezed opened and moved back up your hair. This is carried out during your maintenance appointment which is recommended every 4-6 weeks to keep your hair in a healthy condition.

About Your Appointment

After sending me a message using the contact form on this website, or on the Facebook page, we'll talk through your requirements and the different options available and answer any questions you may have.

Next, we'll organise a day for your consultation where I will come to you for your colour match and ensure the right method is chosen for you and suitable for your hair type. We'll pick a date for your fitting and £100 deposit will be taken. I'll leave you with an information and after care form for you to read through and you can message me with any questions you may have.

The day before your appointment, it is best to wash your hair with shampoo only - no conditioner. I will come to you at the agreed time and your appointment will last for approximately 5 hours. Most like to get a comfy chair in front of the TV and make the most of the time to catch up on all their favourite TV shows!

After your appointment, you can treat the extensions as your own hair and enjoy them! Just ensure you use a sulphate free shampoo and conditioner and nourish them with Argon oil daily.
